My approach to this process is collaborative, fun, and grounded in the celebration of your love.
My path to becoming a wedding officiant has been shaped by a deep commitment to people, connection, and the belief that love is one of the most powerful forces we have.
Before stepping into this work, I built my career as a human rights lawyer, focusing on equal justice and gender justice policy and advocacy in Washington, D.C. My work centered on dignity, fairness, and amplifying voices that too often go unheard.
I was born and raised in Berlin, Germany, with strong roots in what was formerly East Germany — a history that continues to shape how I see the world, community, and resilience. My own journey of love took me across continents: emigrating from my home country to build a life, here in the bay area, with my American husband. That experience — of leaving, of choosing, of building something new together — has profoundly shaped how I understand partnership, commitment, and belonging.
At the center of it all is a simple but profound belief: that love is our foundation. Not only romantic love, but the love we extend in all directions — to our partners, our families, our friends, our communities, our profession, and in the quiet ways we choose kindness every day. I honor love in all of its forms — across backgrounds, cultures, identities, and beliefs.

Based in Sonoma, CA, I happily travel throughout the Bay Area—serving couples up to 100 miles from Sonoma.
Wedding Ceremony Fees (Bay Area):
March - September: $315
October - February: $295

What's included:
- A one-hour personal consultation where we get to know each other, explore your story, and gather the moments, milestones, and anecdotes you’d love woven into your ceremony. Just as important—you’ll get a real sense of whether I’m the right person to marry you.
- A fully written, personalized ceremony script
- The option to review and edit the ceremony—or keep it as a surprise for that extra magic
- Up to 2 hours of coverage on your wedding day, including early arrival to ensure everything flows smoothly
Additional Add On:
- Rehearsal Attendance: $50
Travel & Destination Weddings:
Please note that weddings outside of the above area are considered destination weddings and cost of travel will have to be reimbursed. Cost of lodging is negotiable based on the time of the ceremony and travel distance (happy to discuss and keep things flexible).
I’ve had the joy of traveling as far as Hawaii and New Zealand to officiate ceremonies—so if your love story takes you somewhere beautiful, I’m always open to the adventure.
